GAME RULES
Official Rules & Terms and Conditions (T&C)
Runigma
1. Organization
Runigma is organized by Orixen SA, hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”.
Runigma is an innovative urban treasure hunt combining reflection, speed, and competition, taking place in predetermined and secured public areas.
2. Purpose
This document sets out the official rules of the Runigma game as well as the general terms and conditions of sale (T&C) applicable to any ticket purchase made on the website www.runigma.com.
By purchasing a ticket, the participant fully and unconditionally accepts these official rules and T&C.
3. Participation Conditions
Participation in RUNIGMA is open to any individual aged 16 and over, as well as to those aged 14 or 15, provided they are accompanied by a legal guardian or an adult authorized by the guardian.
Each participant must obtain a personal ticket through the official Runigma website. One ticket corresponds to one player. Tickets are strictly personal, non-transferable, non-refundable, and all purchases are final.
By purchasing a ticket, each participant agrees to the present official rules and the participation conditions.
Participation of Minors
Participants under the age of 16 may only take part in RUNIGMA if accompanied by a legal guardian or an adult authorized by the guardian, in accordance with provisions regarding custody, safety, and liability in the event of an incident occurring during the game.
Participants aged 16 to 18 may take part without accompaniment, under their own responsibility, provided they possess the capacity of judgment as defined in Article 16 of the Swiss Civil Code (CC).
Prize Delivery and Use
In the event of a prize, any participant under the age of 18 must obtain the express authorization of their parents or legal guardians to claim any reward valued above CHF 1,000.–.
Parents or legal guardians remain solely responsible for the minor’s participation and any resulting consequences. The organizer cannot be held liable:
– for prizes consisting of goods or services restricted or prohibited for minors,
– nor in cases where parents or guardians refuse the delivery or use of the prize.
A minor’s participation is deemed to have been made with the implicit consent of their legal representatives when it falls within the scope of pocket-money spending or usual activities for a person of their age.
4. Price and payment terms
Prices are indicated in Swiss francs (CHF), inclusive of all taxes.
Payment is made exclusively online via secure payment methods available on the website (credit card, Twint, etc.).
The order becomes final once payment is confirmed.
An electronic confirmation containing the participant’s personal ticket and QR code is sent by e-mail.
5. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Swiss law, tickets related to events scheduled for a specific date are not subject to any right of withdrawal.
All purchases are therefore final and non-refundable, except in cases explicitly provided for in these T&C.
6. Game format
Each edition of Runigma consists of a series of puzzles distributed across several geolocated stages.
Participants receive instructions and the first clue by e-mail and/or SMS.
Each clue is represented by a QR code to be scanned.
7. Validation of victory
To be officially declared the winner, a participant must present their personal ticket, provide a valid ID matching the name on the ticket, and have scanned all QR codes of the edition with their own ticket.
Failure to meet any of these conditions will result in disqualification and cancellation of the win.
8. Prizes
Each edition features one or more exceptional prizes: objects, experiences, vehicles, high-tech products, or other valuable rewards.
The full list of prizes is available on www.runigma.com and on Runigma’s official social media channels.
Prizes are non-exchangeable and cannot be converted into cash.
9. Minimum participation requirement
The organization of any Runigma edition is subject to reaching a minimum of 2,000 tickets sold prior to the official launch.
If this threshold is not met, the event will be canceled and all buyers will be fully refunded using the original payment method within a maximum of 30 days.
10. Cancellation, postponement, and force majeure
The Organizer reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any edition of Runigma in cases of force majeure, bad weather, administrative decisions, or any other event making it impossible to hold the game.
In the event of a definitive cancellation, tickets will be fully refunded.
In the event of postponement, tickets will remain valid for the new date.
A refund may be requested within 14 days if the participant is unable to attend on the new date.
11. Safety and responsibility
The game takes place in public areas that are accessible and secured.
Participants may use any mode of transport of their choice (on foot, by bike, scooter, motorcycle, car, etc.), provided they comply with traffic laws and safety regulations.
The Organizer declines all responsibility in the event of accident, injury, loss, theft, or material/physical damage.
Any dangerous, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior will result in immediate and permanent disqualification.
12. Public order and environmental respect
Participants agree to behave respectfully in public spaces, causing no damage, nuisance, or disturbance.
Any breach or offense will be the sole responsibility of the participant, without recourse against the Organizer.
13. Fair play and game integrity
All participants receive the same information at the same time.
The QR code system ensures perfect equality among participants: only the fastest wins.
Any attempt at digital fraud, cheating, GPS manipulation, use of fake accounts, or automated software will result in immediate exclusion without refund.
The Organizer reserves the right to take any technical or legal action necessary to protect the integrity of the game.
14. Modification of the rules
The Organizer may, if necessary, modify these rules or participation conditions at any time, particularly for organizational, safety, or force majeure reasons.
15. Image rights
By participating in Runigma, each player authorizes the Organizer to use, free of charge, their image, voice, and/or name in photographs, videos, or recordings made during the game for promotional purposes (website, social media, press, etc.), without time or geographical limitation.
The participant waives any claim or compensation related to such use.
16. Personal data
The information collected is used exclusively for the management of the game, logistics, communication, and prize distribution.
In accordance with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (LPD) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), each participant has the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data by contacting contact@runigma.com.
17. Electronic proof and contractual validation
Recording an order on the website runigma.com constitutes proof of the transaction between the participant and the Organizer.
Electronic exchanges (e-mails, confirmations, SMS, payments) are recognized as valid and binding contractual evidence.
18. Intellectual property
All elements related to Runigma (name, logo, visuals, concepts, texts, riddles, digital materials) are protected by intellectual property laws and remain the exclusive property of the Organizer.
Any reproduction, distribution, or unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These official rules and T&C are governed by Swiss law.
Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Geneva, Switzerland.
