- 01Runigma is an interactive urban treasure hunt organized in major European cities. Participants explore the city to solve puzzles and scan QR codes. Every day, an exceptional prize is up for grabs, and the fastest player wins.
- 02When the first participant scans the final QR code: We verify their personal ticket. We check their ID. We confirm that they scanned each QR code of every step with their own ticket. Only a participant meeting all three conditions is officially declared the winner and receives the prize.
- 03The races mainly take place in city centers. All clues and QR codes are placed in legally accessible, open, and safe locations. The perimeter is defined in advance and communicated to all participants.
- 04Yes. Each player receives the same information at the same time. The QR code system ensures perfect fairness among all participants, only the fastest wins.
- 05Tickets will be sold exclusively online on the official Runigma website. Payment is secure, and you’ll receive immediate confirmation by email and SMS. All purchases are final: tickets are neither refundable nor exchangeable.
- 06Participation in RUNIGMA is open to any individual aged 16 and over, as well as to those aged 14 or 15, provided they are accompanied by a legal guardian or an adult authorized by the guardian. Each participant must obtain a personal ticket through the official Runigma website. One ticket corresponds to one player. Tickets are strictly personal, non-transferable, non-refundable, and all purchases are final. By purchasing a ticket, each participant agrees to the present official rules and the participation conditions. Participation of Minors Participants under the age of 16 may only take part in RUNIGMA if accompanied by a legal guardian or an adult authorized by the guardian, in accordance with provisions regarding custody, safety, and liability in the event of an incident occurring during the game. Participants aged 16 to 18 may take part without accompaniment, under their own responsibility, provided they possess the capacity of judgment as defined in Article 16 of the Swiss Civil Code (CC). Prize Delivery and Use In the event of a prize, any participant under the age of 18 must obtain the express authorization of their parents or legal guardians to claim any reward valued above CHF 1,000.–. Parents or legal guardians remain solely responsible for the minor’s participation and any resulting consequences. The organizer cannot be held liable: – for prizes consisting of goods or services restricted or prohibited for minors, – nor in cases where parents or guardians refuse the delivery or use of the prize. A minor’s participation is deemed to have been made with the implicit consent of their legal representatives when it falls within the scope of pocket-money spending or usual activities for a person of their age.
- 07Any tax obligations related to the prizes are the responsibility of the winners, according to applicable laws.

- 10Every evening at 7 p.m., each participant receives an email and SMS with the location of the first clue. The clue is marked with a QR code. The first 500 players to scan move on to the next clue, then 250, then 100… until the final QR code. The first person to scan the last QR code wins the prize of the day. The winner is immediately taken into the RUNIGMA van to receive their prize live on Instagram.
- 11Yes, there is one winner each day. Sometimes there may be races with several winners per day, so it is important to read the information for each race carefully.
- 12No. Runigma has nothing to do with a lottery or a raffle. The winner is not chosen at random: it is always the fastest and most insightful participant. It’s therefore a true competition based on logic, quick thinking, and speed of action.
- 13No. Each person may only have one personal ticket.
- 14Prices vary depending on the race. Some races are free.
- 15No. Prizes are neither exchangeable nor redeemable for cash.
- 16Each ticket is strictly personal and non-transferable. Only one scan per ticket is valid. The ticket holder must scan the QR codes themselves at each step.
- 17The race is not necessarily on foot: all means of transport are accepted. Participants may use a bicycle, scooter, motorbike, car, or any other form of transport, as long as traffic and safety rules are respected.
- 18Runigma is designed to be fun, accessible, and safe. A security team is present at each stage/checkpoint to ensure smooth operations. However, each player participates under their own responsibility and must follow traffic rules.
- 19Yes. A team is present on-site every day to oversee the game, ensure safety, and film the winner. The project is structured, supervised, and complies with all legal obligations.
- 20Yes, you can buy a ticket for someone else. However, the ticket must be issued in the name of the actual participant. When a participant wins, an identity check is performed: the name on the ticket must match the ID presented.
- 21Yes. When purchasing the ticket, each participant must read and accept the official terms of participation. This step is mandatory to validate the registration and ensures that every player understands and respects the rules.
